Another fine fall week on hand. The sun will be shining and the lake should offer some great windows for paddling. Thursday the wind will pick up, pilule but other than that expect calm waters for most of the week. Temperatures will be in the low 60s, cialis sale dropping to the high 30s in the evenings.
Halloween at South Tahoe Standup was an extravaganza of superheroes, bikers and the odd gorilla. The kids danced and trick-or-treated their way into plastic pumpkins full of candy. Spiderman even took a turn at delivering the mail with South Tahoe’s own Pony Express.
This week there isn’t too much on the calendar, but there are a couple races in California. La Jolla will host the SoCal Winter Series. The second installment of the 101 Surf Sports Race will kick off Nov. 8 in San Rafael. Other races will be held in Florida, South Africa, New Zealand and France. Check out Supracer.com for details.
In the news, there was a few interesting stories. But one was just too bizarre not to mention. An Australian made headlines this week by swimming to and boarding a floating whale carcass. Many news outlets reported that he surfed the carcass. I would say it was closer to SUPing it. Regardless, his happy adventure ended when he realized enormous sharks were surrounding the dead whale.
